Thank you for participating in the Summerfest Parade. Please take a moment to fill out this registration form so that we have information available for the emcee and future invitations. The one thing that makes a Parade great is its participants, and this is why we are excited that you want to be involved. We want you to receive the recognition you deserve at the viewing stand.
One week prior to the event you will be contacted with your placement number. These numbers will be posted along the side of the Cottage St., Noyes St., and Turner St block.
Parade lineup is between 1PM and 1:45 PM. Volunteers will be at the corner of Cottage and Main to check you in. Please enter on Cottage street so you will be facing the correct direction for the start of the parade.
PLEASE NOTE: Fire Trucks will be the only participants holding at Bethlehem Elementary School.
The parade route is from Turner St. to Prospect St. Any walkers who need a ride back to their vehicles can hold at the Gazebo and our golf cart drivers will pick you up two at a time per cart.
Safety is always our number one concern and we have established a handful of simple rules to make this event as safe as possible.
1) PLEASE DO NOT THROW CANDY OR OTHER ITEMS FROM MOVING VEHICLES
Suggestion: Provide some walkers to hand out the candy or other items.
2) Keep a safe distance between you and the next Float or Walkers
3) If in a Fire Truck, we will allow a short horn blow or a few yips from sirens. We have at least 2 other sound-based participants.
4) Please be aware of your vehicle overheating or developing other mechanical issues.
